Portfolio
The body of my work is a contemporary statement on the remaining unspoiled areas of the Carolina Lowcountry. My compositions do not portray landscape that is populated by people. Rather, this work exemplifies the pristine nature of the barrier islands and salt marshes untouched by development. In many instances I edit out signs of development. It is my intent to bring the attention of others to the Lowcountry and inspire them to save the remaining undeveloped areas with oil on Linen, watercolors, chine colle etchings, aqua crayon on paper, monoprints, charcoal on paper, pen and ink and washes, and diptychs (charcoal).
